This lovely little bell is made of raw unglazed, eggshell-textured ceramic that has been hand-painted and signed by the artist. The painting features strawberries and strawberry blossoms surrounded by green leaves and vines. There are two decorative beads at the top of the bell, and the ringer is a wide ceramic triangle that matches the bell material. The bell measures about 5 inches from top to bottom.
It is in great vintage/used condition, with no chips or cracks. There are a couple of small scuff marks on the bell, as well as a couple of very small nicks that I believe are original to the manufacturing when the clay was soft. Overall, this bell is in wonderful condition, clean and pretty! It has a white nylon braided string to hang it by. Please look at photos for condition. What a beautiful bell! This one is hard to let go of! This would be a beautiful decoration for your porch or garden (although I think it could break in high winds) and would be a great addition to your strawberry collection!
