*SOLD* This beautiful large wig case has a vinyl handle on top and a twist closure on the front. It is made of that amazing midcentury faux brocade in gold and off-white that I believe is textured vinyl. All of the seams on this box are intact and looking good. Stamped inside with Everbest Original, Hollywood, Florida. This would work as either hat or wig storage. It measures just over 13 inches tall, and 13 inches in diameter. The inside is lined with a sort of padded white vinyl, and it feels like there is a cardboard form inside that helps the box keep its shape. There are 3 small round gold feet on the bottom, and a cream-colored vinyl handle on top.
This wig box is in great vintage/used condition, with no tears, cracks, or other damage. It does show some signs of wear, however. The inside lining has some discoloration in places, and the little vinyl stickers that cover the inner hinges are missing/damaged, but the hinges themselves work and are sturdy. There is also a small amount of wear on the handle, but it also is in working order and sturdy. Please look at photos for more information on condition. This wig case has that great midcentury Hollywood Regency style, and is also totally functional - amazing that an item so old could still look so good!
