This beautiful large sectioned serving tray is made of carved wood with a great midcentury teardrop shape! It has 2 shallow sections, and measures 17" long and 7" wide at the widest point, and stands about 1.5" high. I don't know what type of wood it is, but it has a beautiful medium brown color with lots of grain and color variation. It has no makers mark to say when it was made or who made it. This platter is in great vintage/used condition, with no chips, cracks, or other damage. It does show a little light scuffing/scratching consistent with age and use, particularly along the inner edges. Please look at the photos and video to see more information about the appearance and condition of this item - I tried to show the wear clearly. I have freshly oiled it with food safe cutting board conditioner and it really shines - what an absolutely charming and unique MCM serving platter!
