This pair of mismatched earrings features a long silver chain (reclaimed and upcycled!) on one ear, and one of our hand-cut bicycle inner tube extra long feathers on the other. These black raven feathers are cruelty-free, but are cut to mimic the look and movement of real feathers. Every single material in these earrings except the ear wire is recycled and repurposed. For hygiene, we use brand new, unused ear wire which is nickel-free.
Each feather measures nearly 5 inches long, and the chain also measures close to 5 inches. These are shoulder dusters for sure! The repurposed metal rings and chain have a weathered, imperfect patina. One of the weathered silver rings is also used on the feather earring to visually marry the two asymmetrical earrings.
All the earrings that we sell in our Etsy store are made by hand by us using vegan materials, and are therefore all sweatshop and cruelty free. Made in Minnesota, USA.
