This gorgeous vintage ice bucket is wrapped in a burnt orange material that is almost fuzzy, almost velveteen - I think it is meant to be faux suede. It has gold metal edging around the base and the top of the bucket, with the top having a strip of brushed gold as added decoration. The lid is slightly padded, and fits tightly. The knob and handle are also gold. There is a white plastic liner inside of the bucket.
This classy midcentury modern ice bucket is in amazing vintage condition, with no damage, cracks, or discoloration. Considering its age, it is in wonderful condition. However, it is lightly used, and there is a small amount of scuffing and a couple of scratches around the rim - very light wear overall. The handle is sturdy and stands upright on its own, but is easy to turn. No rust. Fabric edges are perfect. The base has no maker's mark to say who manufactured this item. It measures 9 inches high (12 inches with the handle up), and 8 inches in diameter. Astonishingly beautiful, and wonderfully preserved piece of midcentury barware!
