*SOLD* This vintage trivet is a beautiful almost-blue color, but it isn't painted, it is just the patina on the cast iron. It is a classic ornate wrought iron design that vaguely looks like a heart. It has a small round hole at the top of the heart where I guess a leather or cloth strap could be tied so you can hang this up to store it. On the back of the trivet, the word BUTTERFLY is pressed into the iron. I don't know if that's the brand or the style.
This trivet measures 8 1/2 inches in length and 6 inches wide. It has 3 iron feet on the underside. This item is in great vintage/used condition, not surprising since these things are basically indestructible. There is no damage on the trivet. The only imperfection is a place on the back where it looks like either someone wrote something or it has a scuff or what looks like red paint. Please see photos for condition. This trivet is both a beautiful and useful piece of history and will almost certainly outlive us all - made to last forever.
